Parent Participation
ICNS - Where Parents and Children Learn & Play Together!
As a Parent Participation school we depend on the families to continue to make it a thriving, successful school. Our families demonstrate their commitment to the success of the school and their children in three ways:
- Working at the school as Teacher's Assistants
- Fundraising activities
- Keeping our school clean and safe
Fund Raising
In the spirit of a co-op, our parents and families work together to raise funds for the school to maintain a low cost to parents. We accomplish this through fund raisers of all kinds- from the legendary Trike-a-thon to holiday candy, as well as raffles and family dinners- where local restaurants make contributions to our non-profit organization. We do our best to put the fun into fundraising.
